I have been complaining about this for 20 plus years. Anyone that knows me will attest to that. I just don't understand the logic or the reasoning behind it.

Probably the single most notable thing that makes America great is its diverse culture. This diversity has brought to us people from every corner of the world. We can visit neighborhoods that represent all walks of life. One country that experiences every culture of  modern world. We live together, we learn from each other, we share experiences and we grow together.

I can understand someone wanting to come to America. Someone wanting to take advantage of all the opportunities that abound here. Someone that wants to be free and  be able to exercise those freedoms. Everyone that is here has a family tree that traces back to another country at one time or another, that is of course with the exception of the Great Indian Nations. The thing I don't understand is if a person so dislikes their native country they want to change citizenship and take up residence in our country, why do they want to bring with them all the things they supposedly disliked about their country. They come here and want to shove down our throats the very way of life they left behind. They don't want to be an American. They just want to enjoy all the benefits of living in America. They buy houses, they open business's, they get social security sometimes, they get free health care, they get IN STATE tuition at our state universities, they get to vote and they get full protection under our constitution. All without becoming an American citizen. What a GREAT country. Everyone wants to be something in America besides just a plain ole American. Several months ago I heard a newscaster refer to Barrack Obama's dad as being an African American. Obama's dad was a Kenyan and not an African American. We have reached the point that everyone that is black is an African American. First off Africa is a continent. Africa has 27 sovereign nations on the continent. I don't think I would call a Lybian an African American. He would probably slit your throat. Would you call a Canadian a American just because he resides on the North American continent? What country does Jesse Jackson come from? If he wants equal rights why can't he just call himself an American? If the Mexicans want to sneak into this country you would think they would want to assimilate the American way of life. Hell no, they want us to become Mexicans. Go into a 7-11 and half the time they can't even speak english, you would think you where in the middle east. Why do signs have to be in two languages?  Why do illegal immigrants get cheaper tuition the any of our children. In my district you have the option to vote in Spanish or English. Thats in Denny Hastert's district. Why are we so hell bent on allowing everyone to push their ethnicity on us?. We are so concerned with being politically correct that we are loosing the American identity. We are becoming extinct. We are falling apart at the seams. We tolerate the intolerant. What the hell are we doing.

This is not just about Africans or Mexicans. Its about Polish Americans, Irish Americans, German Americans, Italian Americans, Asian Americans and the whole rest of the freakin bunch that call themselves something else besides American. I would be willing to bet that 98% of them have never even been outside of this country.

This again is by design of  our government. They want the masses divided into classes. They want hyphenated Americans so we can all resent each other while they steal us blind, make stupid laws and sit back and laugh.
